    I tried posting this before but never got an awnser, anyway the maf in my '85 camaro went out recently so i grabbed another off an '88. Put it in and wouldn't idle. Maybe I got a bad one, but they're compatible aren't they? There's two versions of it (one with a 'funnel' around the wire and another without) but they fall under the same part # at my local auto store. Thanks.

    3.4 block converted to roller valvetrain with 220/225 cam on 115 lsa, '769' heads with 3500 valves, LS6 springs & porting, twin T04E turbos, 3500 plenum with ported 3400 lower & 'short star' 65mm throttle.
