  • oil filter thread issue

My 3400 block came out of a 99 Venture minivan that has the crappy radiator oil cooler on it, I've removed the oil cooler, and want to put a 3100/3400 Beretta style Oil filter neck on it. Now heres my question, since the oil cooler setup had a threaded bolt on it that screws into the block and the oil filter, can I get a threaded oil filter bolt that will allow me to put the filter right on the 3400 block? Does anyone have a part number for a replacement oil filter threaded bolt?

    Thanks,
    Craig

I had a spare that I was willing to send to him... I'll see if I can't dig up a PN though.

The double threded nipple is screwed into the end of the oil filter adaptor. The bolt used is also a very common part.

If you take the ipple out of the adaptor and thread it into the block then you can put your filter right on the block.
