  • L-Body Post Cat Exhaust Diameter?

in regards to 1990 beretta gt, 3.1...

looking for the pipe diameter just after the cat. I'd have to guess its 2" but it could possibly be 2.25" Can anyone verify? I want to install a glasspack to act as a resonator to work in conjunction with the muffler. I suppose I could just get a 2.25" glasspack and use reducers if I have to but it'd be easier to get the right size in the fist place and make for a lot less clutter with clamps and such. The muffler is fairly quiet (its a stock replacement) but it makes some muffled fart sounds that I'd like to clean up with a glasspack or resonator of sorts. I know just past the cat isnt the best place to put something fiberglass filled but it seems that is the only spot that has a decent length of straight pipe that could be replaced with a straight through glasspack. Not looking for performance gains... just want to make this beast hush up a bit more.
