need help with 2.8 identiication

ive been looking around trying to figure out somethings about this engine i have, i bought it from a man who didnt know much but it was a 2.8 short block and it has new pistons and crank and was bored .30. i have found several numbers on the block and ive tried to right them down so in hope someone can direct me where to go.
They are:
14033088, gm 2.8L, and also along he fron covered by the intake, k0422uwz

What is it you want to know? Check out the family tree, maybe you can find some info there, at least get an idea of the year, fwd or rwd, etc.

i just wanted to know if it was a first gen so i can interchange parts with my other motor

Yes it is a Gen I or II. The blocks of the first 2 generations are the same. So all parts will interchange.
