As far as...? Are you starting with a 2002 3100-equipped car and wanting to install a 3400, or do you have an older version 3100 and want to install a 2002 3100?

Ok... well, your best bet would be to find a 2002 3400 and then it would be a direct swap. You might have to take a few things off of your engine for it to work (mounts, exhaust manifolds), but other than that, it should bolt right in. You wouldn't have to worry about any of the sensor issues or other mods like that since you can get a same year 3400.

Hmm I think money could be better spent on the 3100. Its new why waste it. Unless you could get a 3400 real cheep and sell the 3100 for the same or more than you pay for the 3400.

Wouldn't that be a concept hey? An engine swap that puts more cash in your pocket.
