Hmmm... that never occurred to me. I suppose I could spray it with some WD40- I'm sure that'd take care of the squeak. Probably not the clunk though- that $hit shrinks when it gets cold.
your supposed to grease your chassis every now and then... thats why it has grease points lol

heres an examply of the grease you should use-

      Grease points on poly bushings?

Forgive me if I have my doubts.

no on moving suspension parts... it makes it alot easier if you do put in grease fittings on the brackets though... some aftermarket stuff (none that i have seen for our cars) come this way for ease of maintinance

Like I've said to some other folks before... if you don't know what the hell you're talkin' about- don't give advice!

ive seen descriptions where it tells you to grease poly parts, even if it has fittings or not, especialy if you live where it gets cold. i assume in part because the poly will contract faster than the steel and could cause binding/grabing. i cant see why lubricating a moving part is a bad thing anyways.

the poly inserts i have for my engine squeek a lot.

i just use some assembly lub on the bolts when i put the mounts back on.

                it helps out

IIRC, the grease is silicone that is used for poly. I've never had poly squeak on me though... At least I think I;ve seen packs of it to wipe around the bushing. But some have grease-serts and I guess standard bearing grease is used on those.

just wondering what kind of benifit you would see from making a strut tower bar with a couple of hardpoints to mount dogbones too from the motor. obviously it would take a little work but i'd imagine if there was room this would help. most likely everything would need to be custom made but it'd have to make the whole front end pretty rigid.

hell for that matter you may be able to do this from under the car, tie the lower end together and brace the motor from all around.
