  • tbi to carb conversion

    any info would be great.93 2.8 s10 engine with 5 speed im swapping it into an mgb and want to use a carb.So do i just need to get a 2.8 manifold,distributor,and carb from an older 2.8 and install them?Thanks to all

    yea basicly get a carb, intake and a vacume advance distributor from an early 80s 2.8l. this would be the budget route, id recomend an aftermarket intake (offenhauser) and carb.

    btw: a 93 s10 would have a 3.1l in it, not a 2.8l. same motor, different stroke.

      2.8 engine it is but I figure the swap will be the same ,right?thanks for the quick help can not wait to get started.

        No. The S-10 never got a 3.1L. Only the Isuzu did.
        1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
