Is the stock 3400 known to have some valve float at high rpm? I did a search, but was getting confused with all the results. As best i could 'remember' the answer was yes?
I finally got around to putting in the 3.1 KS. And it runs a LOT better. Power is nice. But right before it hits the rev limiter it sounds like it's either floating the valves, or it's still turning back the timing a lot. But at least now it'll actually get to the rev limiter while under load.
