I completed the 2.8 to 3.4 swap in my 84 S10 Blazer and it runs great. I have had it running a week and it has begun to leak oil. It appears to be right under the oil filter. I used the oil filter adaptor off the 2.8 and used a new gasket. I don't think it's the sender but it's hard to see. What else could be causing it to leak? Also, will using the 2.8 adaptor cause a problem with the oil by-pass?
