Hey guys,
Finally getting around to putting my new mains in and when I went to put the crank in, it wouldn't go down all the way.
Upon inspection, I noticed the 3rd bearing (wide thrust bearing thing with sides) is too wide for the crank.
I looked at the old bearing, and it's definately been rubbing, but I think that's the point, to not let the crank walk forward or back.
But is it suppose to be that tight? It left marks on the outer part of the bearing where I tried to put it in.
I measured the two bearings, and the new one is 0.4mm wider than the one I removed.
Both have exactly the same part number on them, so is this new one defective? I don't remember having this problem when I built the motor, but I could be forgetful.
Thanks guys!
