'92 Firebird is gen1 iron heads, so they should have adjustable rockers/studs.
Here is the procedure:
- Rotate the engine so the cam is on the base circle for the cylinder you are working on
- Rotate the pushrod with your fingers while tightening the rocker adjusting nut
- When the pushrod stops spinning, this is the zero lash point
- Tighten but another 1-1/2 turns to preload the lifter

what i did was put a new set of heads on the new engine. i put new rockers arms on it and i am having a problems with getting started on what to do. i did a swap with the engine and put it in my s10. i used the tbi intake instead of the mpfi because of no computer changes would be needed and i am backfiring through the tbi. i think i said all of this right, haha.

Your distributor is 180* out.
Put number 1 on TDC COMPRESSION STROKE and set up like this
1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
1990 4Door, 3.2L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. 4X4. Trooper
