16mm?!?! Damn man, you need to do some work with that...

Dyno results for my car PROVE that a cone filter HURTS PERFORMANCE. With a cone, I gained about 7 HP, but I lost about 22 TQ.
I noticed that as well. That and going from the 52mm TB to the 62mm TB. When the 52mm was on, the engine seemed to have a better low end, but didn't have as strong of a top end. But since my car is ALL top end now and NO low end, I might have to start experimenting some...

16.8 for the 3.1 GP. If you need a slip, you are a dork...no one lies about a 16.8!

Ill have one for the cutlass next year given that it doesnt fall apart over the winter (possibly).

Brad....working on his car again? Must be fantasy land in kansas, selling all your performance parts and then working on the engine makes no sense to me. I think its time to get a project car and leave the U body for audio only. Ill donate a stripped 92 GP if you wanna pick it up:P

Looks like it was prolly a sport bike.
Thats still one helluva sport bike. I think the highest division of bike racing is running like 6.4 sec ETs right now

              Tristate Raceway's website is www.tristateraceway.com

$30 for Test and Tune....we usally head there in the fall and to Cedar Falls in the spring (www.cedarfallsraceway.com). Its fun.

In June of 2003, I ran at Great Lakes Dragway while at BerettaFest...same mods as in August...but it was HOT, I managed 1 15.9 and ran 4 16.0 the rest of the time. Not quick, but consistant.

I've got a picture from that race.

Oh yea, Tri-State is an NHRA track too, lots of VHT on that track. Plus you get a tail wind sometimes. It is on highway 20 about 30 miles west of Dubuque, Iowa.

                14.60 @ 96.33 for now...

i ran a 15.935 with a 2.18 60' this summer in 95* heat and mid 90% humididty, my raceweight was 3174# , i removed the entire intirior so i could run a 15 sec pass.. it would easily run a 15 full weight with good weather i believe

at the time i had a 3.23 rearend (no lsd) (now i have a 3.42 with an LSD)
                    a K&N CAI
                    cutout
                    underdrive pulley (crank no alt)

i bet i could squeak a 15.5 with the new rear, it feels a lot stronger now, and im sure my launches will be much better now that im spinnin 2

I believe it. I have seen some modded 2.8's rip som eother people new assholes. You get one that is running fresh, and had has some minor work done to it, it is a force to be reckened with.

As for me, with my 62mm throttle body, I do not have to worry about fuel economy. Thanks to the wonderful Ben, and his custom chip with LEAN CRUISE, I get about 45 MPG HIGHWAY. But if I am not on teh highway, I usually average about 8 MPG (curse my lead foot).
