  • oem replacment flywheel

does anyone know of any companies that make oem replacment flywheels for fwd??? im needing a flywheel for my new motor so i can get it balanced, but im having a tough time finding one for an external balanced motor (87 and prior). ive tried my olcal parts stores but they cant seem to come up with a brand (but they know they can get them ) so they want me to get a brand.

anyone know of any??? keep in mind i want an external balanced oem replacment flywheel, i DO NOT want an aluminum one.

Parts America's website lists a Beck/Arnley PN# 0656013 flywheel for a FWD externally balanced application (I looked it up under an '84 Citation V6). The price is $231.99!!!!! I guess they aren't as common as the later ~$40 neutral flywheels. Are you set on a new flywheel over a used one? I have a used one if you are interested.

ouch, thats pricey. im not dead set on a new one, but it would be nice. by the time id pick up a used one (providing i can find one), have it magged and turn it, im $100 into it. i have a neutral balanced flywheel, mabey ill see if my balancing guy can counterweight it. that or find an internal balanced crank.

what are you looking to get for yours???

How about $10 plus shipping? I have no need for it.
