Inquiring minds must know: Are the push rods from a 3100 w/ non-roller rockers a different length than a 3100 with roller rockers? I always thought the roller rocker arms had shorter (and fatter??) pushrods. But now I'm not so sure. My car just gave me a bunch of work to do, and I'm thinking of installing a set of roller heads I have sitting here. N E help is appreciated

RE: Pushrod length- answered my own question
Good news. Just cross referenced Sealed Power pushrods part # RP3330 (intake) RP3331 (exh) 1994-1995 3100 AND for 1996+ 3100! Same pushrods! Might want to put this into the database since I'm sure others may ask this.Brian

RE: Pushrod length- answered my own question
That is kind of odd actually. Because if you do a 3X00 topend swap and keep the rockers with the studs you can use the stock 3.1 pushrods, but if you use the roller fulcrum type stock rockers then you have to change pushrods, so I would think they would be different. Weird.

RE: Pushrod length- answered my own question
Thats what I thought too. But the way it works, the gen-2 pushrods are different than gen-3. I bet it's due to the lifters. The roller lifters are "taller"Brian
