does that mean the 2.8 'W' engines have a 'W' cast into the block? and is there really any difference between 2.8 & 3.1 blocks anyway?
fwiw, my 3.1 'V' TGP engine and my '91 3.1 'T' engine both have that big 'T' cast into the side of the block.'91 Cutlass Supreme sedan - 3.1 Intercooled Turbo / Getrag HM-282 5-speed - 13psi / lightly modded
