ok i chnaged the thermostat and now the low coolant light is on now and its full of coolant i know cause i had to buy more to put in now the light wont go out. will pulling the battery cables get rid of it by resetting the computer.

You still are low IMO. I know when I started my drive out to MO I was low on coolant, and I hadn't loss too much the day before when I added another fan to it. My guess was only liek a gallon. But then I filled the tank, and thought it was good. BUt as soon as I let the car get up to temp and use it, I had to add more and more and more. It was like never ending! It's weird, you don't think you lose too much, but then to get it full takes like 5 gal! lol. So I'd just try to add as much as possible to your resevoir, its not like overfilling it will hurt it any.

guy at the garage down the road told me to just hit the side where the sensor plugs in beacuase its just a floatsigpic
