Anyone know what year engine can be swapped into a 94 Cutlass Supreme 3100.I would like to switch the engine witha newer one less miles.Will a 3100 up to 2003 fit in it and would i need the Computer and wiring harnesses.Thanks jeremy I saw a 2000 3100 with 3000 miles on it.

The engine will go in just fine. Only issues you will have is the EGR, coolant pipe and coolant temp sensor. I would also use your existing injectors since the older computers don't like the newer injectors. If you go 03+, you will also have to swap out the cam position sensor.-Brad-

I know the EGR i fixed that already i welded an old mount on to the new 2000 upper intake.Explain the coolant pipe and sensor.Thanks1995 Cutlass Supreme 3100 SFI

As Brad pointed out the only issue I know of is the EGR, if the other parts will be issues you should be able to swap over those parts from your existing 3100.

Coolant pipe: the heater pipe that goes into the back side of the thermostat housing. In older models, its a screw in fitting, where the newer design is a pressure fit design. You can either tap out the hole to fit your existing pipe or buy the pressure fit pipe and adapt it to your current setup.
The cam trigger changed design 2 times between 94 and 03 (in 00 and 03). The PCM will still work on the 00 change, but not on the 03 change.-Brad-
