lim oil splash shield?

I have several 2.8 carb and TBI intakes, as well as the LIM from a 3.1 Camaro....they all have the splash shield. My guess is that all gen1 intakes had them.

3.4L intakes do not have them. They are way different underneath. But it does not need one. EGR gasses do not come through the intake. They come from a hose off one of the manifolds much like the Gen II and III engines.

i have a special oil splash sheild built for one of my GEN3 3400 LIM's just have to weld it in, then i can open it up as a full on "air gap" style manifold. :P
