M10 Rocker Arm Thread Pitch?

    M10 Rocker Arm Thread Pitch?

    Hello. I'm need to pick up a helicoil tomorrow for a stripped M10 rocker arm bolt hole in an old head I want to reuse and I don't know what pitch to get. I read M10x1.25 in one post. Then another post of someone using an M10x1.5 heli-coil. Then a google search found me one person who said it was M10x1.0. Does anyone happen to know off hand the actual thread pitch?

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and say its M10x1.5 and I'm using TimeSert's website as a guide. This is where I got my M8 kit from. Their M10 says 1.5 pitch

      Thanks. You were right. M10x1.5 it was. I went to the local autoparts store and sized it up, but damn these Aluminum heads. The Heli-coil went perfect on the first motor. Went in better then new. The second head was almost disastrous. Eventually I got so angry i ended up snapping the rocker bolt in the heli-coil and it wouldn't come out no matter what. Long story short I drilled down the middle of the M10 stuck in there, threaded it for an M8x1.25 rocker I had laying around, and everything went smoothly from there.
