Cars stop while driving down the road, i know its the security system, but i don't know how to disable it, i.ve cut the yellow wire on the iginition switch, that didn't help, i read a little about a bypass ,does that work, and if so where can i get one.

Once a vehicle is running the VATS/PASSLOK system will not shut a vehicle off. It will only keep the engine from starting. In short your problem is not the factory anti-theft system.

I assume he's talking about the yellow wire for the PASSLOK system, which is the one that is the signal to the cluster/BCM to provide the proper resistance.

Also in GM vehicles, for many years the heavy yellow wire is the starter wire, the accessory has been orange or brown depending on which accessory you are talking about.

how do you know its the immobilizer? Normally they prevent starting, stopping an engine in traffic is a safety issue and the cause of many recalls, I think you need to scan the vehicle with a tech2 or equivalent otherwise you are blindly stabbing in the dark.
