Need help with Engine number. What do I have?

I was given a little Toyota motor home and someone has partially placed what I think is a 2.8 in it. I was told it was a 2.8 from a 1983 S10.

It has a carb and the serpentine belt and a non-fitting water pump pulley.
I went to the junk yard today and got a full set of pullies off an S10 carb motor. Got home to find that the water pump pattern does not match. Smaller pattern on the water pump. If the pulley I picked up would have fit it would have been to deep anyways.

I really need to sort out all the confusion. The only number I find on the engine is on the drivers side in front of the head. It says 14100696M, it is hard to read.

Can anyone on here help me find out what this engine is?

I would rec. providing good pictures of your situation to help you sort it out maybe.

Pics will help sort this out quicker than trying to figure out numbers that may or may not lead somewhere.
