I wasn't aware of MPFI in 85 either. I thought they were carb > TBI > MPFI. Shows what I know:P

TBI on a 660 was exclusivly used on trucks and the APV Van. Never on cars. TBI was however used on Caddilacs (4.?L) and the iron duke motors.

Fyi I have been sucessfully running these heads (not shauns but the same casting) for almost a year now on my daily driver. Also the block as well.

absolutly not, I disagreed with shaun that you could safely install larger valves in these heads, and I'm not gonna risk ruining a piece of history to find out.

If I wanted to get a lot of flow from this motor, I would instal DOHC heads. The only problem would be the idle shaft, as I would have to make custom oil tubing to supply the cam bearings and heads. The heads would also need the coolant passages welded shut, and custom ones cut into them to use on the open deck block.

As is the motor feels strong, and as soon as I figure out why my BLM's are at 150 under no load, I will take it to the dyno and get some numbers. I'm shooting for fathers day.
