That is excellent. I am just really trying to make sure that I have as many questions answered as I possibly can. I really appreciate the help I am getting.
So do you agree about what was said about the swap information? 3500 LIM, and heads, 3400 UIM, Pistons, and TB, and apparently 3.1 cav pushrods.

And what about my third major question? Can either of you help me out there?

Yeah, that all sounds about right. I'm not a big fan of using a stock pushrod, as when all assembled, everyone's setup is going to end up being a little different. Ideally, you'd want to use an adjustable pushrod to determine the exact size pushrod you need for your application. The 3.1 pushrods may work just fine (I have no physical experience with iron head, or even Gen II engines for that matter), but the BEST way would be to determine your required length.

With that said, if John (ForcedFirebird) is your reference, I would trust his judgment, as he has done this several times before.

What was the 3rd question? If it was the can selection, I think someone already mentioned it, but contact Ben at WOT-Tech (SappySE107 on here). He has a cam selection service for $35 that is fully refundable if you buy a can from him. He will run computer simulations and his best judgment from years of experience on these engines to get you the exact can to fit your needs.

No, it wasn't Forced Firebird, and that's what worries me. I definitely want to make sure I have the correct pushrods, and if i have to get adjustable ones, I definitely will. Do you have any that you would recommend?

And no, my third question was about the Fuel rails, and them being able to be uses with the current 3.4 fuel system. And about injectors. I don't have any experience with injectors, so when I try and search "#20" injectors for the grand am, I don't really find what I'm looking for because I really don't know what I am looking at.

And thank you very much for that info about the Cam! That is definitely an option I will try.

I thought of something else while browsing though all the articles on here and looking up parts; since I am going to be using 3400 pistons with the 3500 heads, do I need to use 3400 connecting rods or is it ok to still use the 3.4 connection rods? If I can use the 3.4 connecting rods, that will be great because I can find any 3400 pistons that come with connecting rods.

Oh, and would you know what size pistons to use? Stock 3.4 is 92mm right? So should I go ahead and get 3400 92mm ones too? Thanks again for all your help.

Depending on whether or not your block needs boring out you can either get 92mm pistons or overbore pistons.

Gotcha, that's what I thought. Thank you very much.

Now I am having a hard time finding injectors. I'm searching for 3400 grand am injectors, and I am just finding replacement ones. I can't find any that have a stronger pressure. And now that I think about it, should I still be looking for 3400 or should I now be looking for 3500 injectors?

Just get 28# trailblazer injectors and use a 3400 fuel rail. 3500 rail is returnless and uses shorter injectors
