Offset of PTO side of crank to block face...?

Is the offset of the face of the crank to the edge of the block the same on the 3x00 engines? Particularly comparing the 3500 non vvt to the 3900 vvt engine.

I am referring to how far the crank sticks in past the mating face of the block to the transmission, and if it is the same for the 3500 vs 3900.

I need to take measurements for a swap, 3.9 in 05 subaru legacy then compound turbocharged and I only have a 3500 engine at this time.
