  • exhaust question

hey i got a question about exhaust mufflers/catalytic-conv. I have a brand new, never used Dynomax Muffler and Catco converter. I was going to put it on a 4cyl S10 but sold the truck and never used it. It has been sitting in my garage since, about 8-10 years. My question is, could it be still used or do they go bad? It hasn't seen any direct moisture but it was in my garage so maybe condensation maybe messed with it, i don't know. I live in eastern new york so i get hot summers and cold winters. They were cheap enough, just figured id ask. Thanks

Should be fine, they sit in warehouses for years before the consumers get them.

Put your mouth up to the muffler inlet and yell as loud as you can to test it.

        Had to do it.
