Because it's what's available to us, and we're poor
That said, we have an 87 Blazer 4wd, 2.8, 5 spd, it had a seized bottom end. I have a complete but beat up fiero with 2.8.
So, my thoughts are;
Swap in the fiero 2.8, with the fiero intake/fuel injection/wiring/etc.
I know the starter has to be switched to the opposite side, I know the intake has to be turned around, I'm sure the accessories will have to be all changed over and such.
Basically, are there any other differences? Can I just swap in the whole stock fiero computer and wiring harness and such and make this thing run without trouble?
Right now, I'm not interested in doing anything fancy like a 7730 ECM, or aluminum head swap or etc... Eventually I want to swap that way, but right now it's not in the cards (money ).
On a side note, has anyone ever done a 3X00 swap on a 4wd blazer? seems like the oil pan would be WAY too big for that on the blazer, but I thought I'd check and see if anyone had done it or not.
