It looks like it has a wide vee angle, more like a 90 degree. The way the intake is facing, it also looks FWD. Zero mile huh? Check the exhaust ports, lol. Other than that, I've never seen one before.

didnt these motors come from the buick century? i took the injectors from one, slightly smaller than the 3100 injectors for some reason. 16.1 lbs (3300) and 16.6lbs (3100) told from ben.

yeah, that's a 90* Buick motor... alternator bracket, valve covers and exhaust manifolds give it away....

              3100 injectors are ~17.4 lb/hr IIRC, it's the 3.1 injectors that are 16.7.

and look at those TINY intake ports!

That's an old FWD 3.8, 80's era, before the 3300. It's SFI, the 3300 was never SFI. That particular engine is closely related to the V6 that powered the Regal in it's heyday.

Here's a cool link to a gentleman who built a couple of these engines w/ turbo. Something like 400 hp, no joke. It's in a '84 Century....a real sleeper.

Buick 3.8SFI Turbo. New turbo system fabrication. Start, revving, brake spooling. Speed-density 3-BAR ECM with Code59 program. Has not been tuned at all yet.

He's got serveral posts on Youtube for it. That 3.8 is a RPO LG1 that he build. Taking another look at that pick, this might be a bit earlier than the LG1. Still a fine motor that can take a lot of boost. He broken two 4T65HD transmissions so far with that motor...in 20,000 miles.

His fist turbo was a 2.8 iron head 60 degree with a ton of miles on it. But it's not a silent killer like that 3.8 he built.
