i went junk yard shopping the other day and found a good replacement engine for my malibu. i found a grand am there. its the SE i believe. i ran the VIN at autozone and its a 1999. however i was looking at the engine and the LIM is stamped "00" and it looks to have the oldish style EGR.
so when i get parts for this should i consider it a 99 or a 00. either way i dont think it matter. i just want to be sure.
and also does the SE grand am come with a 4t45e or a 4t40e trans? thanks
