  • Lightweight battery info

Ok so ive been thinking of getting a light weight battery for my z,
i found this one, only weighs 11lbs, its a motorcycle battery that has 280cc hours

Keep in mind i wont be driving my car in winters anymore so the battery would never have to perform under 55degrees

Has anyone ever used a lightweight battery such as this in a daily driver?

Yea you can use it but why?

Just make sure you clamp it down properly. If you have high end stereo I would not use it though.

Unless your car weighs in under 1000 kilos, I dont see justification in buying such a battery...
Instead, use battery weight to your advantage; you can relocate it and use it as ballast weight to even out the weight balance

          spend your money elsewhere...

if you want to lighten your car up before a race, take your passenger seats out. If you have a girl, she can sit on the floor.
You may or may not know 10 times what i do.
