I had the egr disabled on my 02 3100 malibu, after i decided to enable it i see on the scanner that when the valve is closed the volts are still reading 0.78,that doesn't seem right, also i,m getting a lot of jerking and surging at light throttle and also when the trans shifts at light throttle, i used tiny tuner to set the temp at 0, disable speed at 3 mph enable speed at 6 mph disable tps at 2.5 and enable tps at 5. i had the valve off and cleaned it, didn't really need it the pipe from the header is clean and no holes or cracks that i can see. on the scanner when speed increases, the volts and % egr also increases, anyone have any ideas on that problem. thanks

The closed pintle volts should be in the .6 to .8 volt range. The key is that the PCM learns this as closed and sets it as 0% EGR. If you were originally tuned for no EGR you will have A/F upset when EGR begins to flow.

If you ain't rock and roll, you must be driving a Honda
