  • Oil Pressure Sensor

While trying to get the oil galley plug out (from above the filter location on a 3.4L) I broke off a 1/4" socket in the plug...

I need to use a capillary tube from a pressurized oil source to go to my manual oil pressure gauge (79 MGB). Since I've screwed up the only plug I know of, I need to find another so I don't have to pull the engine just to drill out one plug...

Are there ANY other oil galley plugs on the 3.4L? Perhaps in the head(s) somewhere?

    Please HELP!!

    Thanks.

Nope, the old sender was on a 90* oil filter adapter which I can no longer use because of custom header space restraints. I "may" be able to use an oil cooler spacer. Block off one of the ports and use the other?
      Thanks for the reply.

Just make sure you plumb the outlet port for your gauge.
