    That car got sold to Z26-T and he went on a 2 year mission, he should be coming back soon. I was speaking with him on one of the L body boards. He was going to sell me the headers cheap since he was going turbo. That car had a 5spd swap too.

      what size exhaust you runnin through that muffler?

        Here is a cam designed for N/A use in a LX9 3500.

        My cammed V6 Cavalier idling with the cutouts open, then closed. cam is a .539/.549, 288/293 adv on a 110 LSA. Engine is a '04 3500 V6 from a Malibu making 2...



        kinda like 3400-95-Modified's but with a little more duration and a closer LSA.


        Here is an example of the torque you can expect from a LX9 with the right cam..





        I would go with something a little more like 3400-95-Modified's, It should still make the same torque but the power band will be a little more usable

              okay i think i found one at a local yard with only 42K on it. Its been stripped though of most of the stuff. What all do I need to ask for when getting it that is REALLY important? I know the ECM does not come with it, but i read that an older one will work just as well? Any other necessity parts i should ask about?

                here is a little comparison of my setup to give you an idea. all that was changed was the muffler. mine is an N/A oriented cam. its still streetable
                TOG headers 2 1/2" downpipe, SLP cat back no resonator 2 1/2" as well.

                first is an OEM style camaro muffler


                2nd is with a chambered edelbrock muffler

                    nope mine were actually made for the N-body grand am. i got them used off another forum but they stopped selling these a long time ago.
                    S&S just stopped selling the headers they made last year.
