      EDIT: just noticed the control arm is shorter. mounting points wise. i would still bet its the same after that.

        In my oppinion the weight savings isn't worth the time or cost.

          They are very different..... for starters the N-body does not use bushings in the subframe. The steering rack is going to be different along with control arms and sway bar.

          Again not worth the time and money for minimal gains.

            i think it maybe worth it. if i owned a n body i would find out for sure, dont they use the same steering rack? and you dont have to use the rubber mounts.

              Steering rack and sway bar differ from the N-body to the W-body.

              Even if it did work and you saved 30 lbs, you have spent several hundred dollars which could have gone elsewhere that would have given more of a gain.

              If you are serious about weight reduction, ditch the spare, remove the A/C components, carpet, rear and passanger seats, go on a diet, ect.

              If it was a W-body that had the steel subframe and I had the car torn down, then that might be a different story.
