I agree. But the thing is GM is out to make a shit load of money. And they do. The are one of a small group of car companies that actually return a profit. I dont think Dodge has made money in like 10 years. Diamler is carrying their ass along but I dont think it will last. You cant make money by spending millions on R&D for a truck that only a few thousand people will buy. To make a special high performance vehicle it costs way too much. But if they do like you say and keep it simple, like a Big Block 1500 series, they can do just that.

Really a syty is still as much of a monster as a srt 10 because it has awd and you can turn up the boost. Try to get great traction with a srt 10 at the strip and make sure you manually hit all gears when you shift. Also anyone wanting a syty back in the day didnt have to fork over nearly the cost an srt 10 owner will. On a side note Chrysler really has things going on with that beautiful 300c.

The 90 v6 always has been a great workhorse because of the big bore. Just imagine if the 60 v6 had a 4" bore engine design.

Yea I agree I really like the new 300. Finally a RWD car that looks good and goes fast for a good price.

It would be really sweet if all the W bodies were RWD

the syclone was considered the fastest production truck until recently now the srt-10 is the fastest production truck and that is why the lighting was not mentioned, but I could be wrong.

the 1500 srt-10 is worthless towing the only up side is its 30k cheaper than the viper and you can fit more cargo in the bed.
