but i am in alot of ways very similar. i try fixing all sorts of shit that should just be thrown out. (not saying your car should be) im just saying i try fix things that alot of other people consider garbage, which was what i thought of your car before. and like i said, sorry. i didnt mean to be an asshole.

It also makes a difference what kind of car it is. For example, some people might call me a nerd for wanting to fix up and maintain a 1996 Oldsmobile. I see it more than just a grandpa car, I see it as an escape from speeding tickets,LOL. I also see it as the first car I have kept in my ownership for more than a two years.
What I'm saying is, I understand where you're coming from. We all keep less than desireable things and try to make them better.1988 Grand Prix - project

Not to mention the fact that there is no such thing as a new Oldsmobile, so my car is irreplaceable to me. Now that Pontiac is in the same line of fire I think it's great to see someone breathe new life into an old car like that. Also considering the fact that the fuel economy of a 60* car is generally no worse than the average fuel economy of a new vehicle, it seems to be both environmentally friendly as well as wallet friendly in the long term.
Any progress on the swap? A picture is said to be worth a thousand words!
