*these are off of a jbody going from a 3.1 to a 3x00 motor, but I would think that its the same with a prix with a 2.8*

EDIT: when I was typing this, it was on page 10, you guys work freakin fast!

              • Now page 12.

Thanks you guys. I realized that all those parts I saw on the website demesticcrew.com were for people doing a hybrid swap - 3.1 block with 3100/3400 head and intake.

                  • Are you seriously parting out your car? If so, I'd take some parts.

Would your pass. door fit my GP?
The passneger door doesn't work (outside door handle broke).

If not, would you consider selling the outside handle and assembly?

                      1 project at a time

the handles are easy enough to install. and even though a LOT of panels look the same between luminas and GPs, its not necessarily directly interchangeable...

                      • I would go for a 3500 or 3900. I think Robertisaar is thinking about doing a 3900 swap into his Monte Carlo.

BTW: I was joking about you parting out your car. I just cant imagine doing that to such a cool looking car. Mine is the one thats parts worthy.

                        • Hey, I'm always searching for parts to complete my car. If I had tons of money, I'd buy a better looking Grand Prix and use mine as a parts car.

However, that's not the case. I'm a recent college graduate that can't find a job, so I'm filling my time wrenching on this junker.
Trying to make it a car I could drive to work (when I find a job).

                            fiked

damn straight you change the 3500 to 3900

3500s are good motors, but i like big cubic inches... and the unique intake.... and more factory power....

                            • lol my comment was merely in reference to the puzzle like design of the stupid motor. the way things fit together and shit is just friggin stupid.

i did my thermostat today, in the dark, and dropped a screw for the bleeder on the coolant line after. car is down till a trip to the JY tomorrow.
