      seriously? thats the most awesome OHV 660 there is: the 3900.

        I was gonna ask what that engine was too, I'm not familiar with the new V6's GM has put out. But anyways, I still have 2 sets of the Aluminum covers so thanks for the input guys, I won't chance it. And no the covers were from an old small port 3100.

        Sealed power skirted hyperuetectic pistons, LS6 Valve springs, Manley keepers and retainers, Custom short ram, header back, Tuning by Performance Dyno, 3400 TB, MSD Coils and wires, A/C Delete, Gasket matched heads and intake manifolds, 180 hypertech stat, Cat delete, 2 1/2" header back.

          If you want them to look nice, some aluminum covers were smooth cast, and easy to polish up, or lightly sand smooth and then paint. Mine I just painted and it looks like I polished it first but that's how it was from the factory.

            Thank you, someone else said it so I don't have to.

            They got rid of the plastic covers for a reason and went to metal... Just like why they phased out the 3.1 and went to the 3100, and so on...
