  • need certain picture of 3500

    i need a picture of the block right below the ac compressor and between the oil pan. and also the mounting points for the ac compressor.
    ENGINE HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE. THIS MOTOR WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE FIERO AND REPAIRED IN TIME. UNTIL THEN, A L67 WILL RESIDE IN ITS PLACE

    87 fiero gt 5spd 3500, 1280 cam and PR, ls6 valve springs, port and polished heads, ported lim, ported uim, 4.3 70mm tb, ported trueleo headers and y pipe, 2.5 inch ex, flowtech muff, 7730 ecm, moates.net APU1, self tuning *learning* (GOT FROM MY BROTHER, divorce reasons.)

      thats the spot the ac compressor usually is. i needed a bit lower. the spot im talking about is actually the oil pan. i got it figured out. thanks for the help though

      oh, so yours came with out an ac comp, so does that mean there is a belt for this motor w/o ac?

        you just need to measure for one, then go to the parts store and tell them how long it needs to be.

        I'll look at mine today and see if the part number is still there.

          i used a a/c delete for a 3400. had to mod it a bit but worked and i could get the part number for the belt i used. that is if ur planning on not running a/c. if u r then i dependes on the belt/ mount system ur using. i know some guys (superdave) r using just a idler pulley but i couldnt because my motor mount bolted up were the pulley would go. i think u need one something there either way tho.

            my compressor is cracked on the housing pretty bad, but i leave it on since i dont have an ac delete.

              No, it's a salvage yard pull and they'd kept the alternator/ac compressor.
