  • ODB2 Intake on 3400 heads.

Will my old 3.1 intake (the ugly flat one) bolt up to a set of 3400 heads without any modifications? I am trying to keep the old intake so my competitors don't see that I have changed anything obvious.

even if you could get it to work(which i'm going to say it WON'T), you wouldn't gain much, if anything. the heads aren't the biggest issues on the LH0. the intakes themselves SUCK, as do the small TB and overly restrictive exhaust. those would be better places to start to find power on a Gen 2...

Sorry but no, they will not fit. the port shapes are very different.

You could always make a shell of a 3.1 intake and TIG it onto a 3400 UIM. With some careful finish work you might be able to pull it off.

Well thanks for the info guys, I guess if I am going to do it I will have to do the top end swap, I have already done as much with the exhaust as I can without going to the 3400 logs, or 3500 dual fronts. Maybe it will be be an offseason project then.
