on a scale of 1 to 10, that made -5 for sense....

7727s use a rectangular(but somewhat square) plug, and there are four of them

7730s use a long thin plug and there are 3 of them.

you can't just swap a 7730 in place of a 7727 and plug it in...

Uhh, who said anything about swapping a 730 in place of a 727?

What do you know, another 20 year old punk who thinks he knows it all.
I guess some people just don't want to be helped. Good luck.

        right there, you did.

          Let me rephrase that.

The reason I mention that the pinout was in the calpack, was because from what I gathered, there are some guys on here running the 8F code (FROM a turbo GTP, 727 ecm) on a 730 ecm with an A1 memcal, and they did not have to repin. Originally they were running the A1 / 730 combo. All they did was change the prom, not the ecm.

the way you're phrasing it keeps fucking with me

they had a from the factory A1 vehicle

            they decided to turbo it.

using the same resistor packs(assuming they are either using a G1/G3 adapter or they removed the factory PROM and solered in a flash one) they are running it on 8F

            did i get it right?

You do not have to rewire to use 6D 88 or A1. 8F is turbo code, that used the same ECM as the NA vehicles but may have had some new wires for the boost. I don't have any experience with 8F, but I can tell you that it cannot possibly need any existing wires to be swapped around from an NA vehicle to do this. It also has nothing to do with this topic so if you wish to continue this off topic discussion, please start your own thread.

ok so i have been gone a few days and all shit blows loose lol. ryan says i need to use either $A1 for N/A or $8F if i want to go turbo later on, which i would like to do. can i change masks at a later date? i imagine so. the fieros never came with 7730 ecms, hence the upgrade, the ecm i am using is from a 93 sunbird 3.1 5spd. i have the 2000+ injectors and regulator i believe ben. would you mind sending me a copy of that .bin and mask so i can mess with it? i plan on getting the 65 mm tb and adapter for my 3500 intake once i know this thing will run. Or if anyone on here has a tune that would work, please let me know.
                  thanks

Sorry, I am not giving my work away for free. Too much time and money into getting it finished.
