  • 3500 a/c delete

    does any one know it a a/c delete made for a 3400 will fit a 3500? i cant use the idler pully like superdave because my motor mount bolts there.

      What if you just got a shorter belt?

        ur sayin go from the crank pulley right to the water pump? i think it will hit the motor mount. pcguy did ur 3100 compressor bolt up i was skiming the sticky and didnt see

            Yes, my 3100 compressor works... minus 1 bolt (bottom bolt). The mounting hole doesn't align but I am at least the second person to leave it off and be fine.

              so if that a/c delete bolts in the same places as the compressor it should work. any one know if it does?

                ill check at work to see if we have one for a 3400 instock, if we do ill see if itll boltup to my block... (3500) ill post tomorrow on what i findout

                    it would be no big deal if i could get one at a autoparts store then just return it but i think its special order and they dont take returns on special orders.

                          i just ordered one from dorman, its cheaper then a AC compressor, ill let you know what i find when it comes in.

                            i got one from autozone it fits but had to cut the bracket a lil and the pan a lil but it works.
