Is the TBI on a 4.3-2.8 V6 have the same size top as a 350-305 V8 TBI? (Where the air cleaner sits)

Correct. There are the same size. Spectre makes those kinds of parts too.

Only complaints I've ever heard about the fleabay kits are fitment issues but since your modding it anyways I don't see that as a problem. As a matter of fact I was looking at the fullsize kits myself for when I relocate a bunch of stuff so I can have room to mount a true cold air intake.87 3.4 4x4 blazer
