1) The WOT adapter and their 65mm TB.
or
2) an LX5 TB and the adapter they sell there. I sort of got that started. LX5= 3.5 DOHC olds motor. It's 65mm.
Pics and info about your project!! That will be fast. Even the 3rd gen cavys weigh less than my beretta!

To us a Ford TB and a GM IAC valve, you can build the following adapter that will bolt up to the 3500 plenum:
I have the CAD file around here somewhere. I can make it a PDF to give you all the dimensions needed. Basically just takes a block of aluminum, various drill bits and a drill press.-Brad-

I'll take one in .iges or .dwg/dxf please :P
Takes more work to use the Ford TB, not only do you have to make the IAC adapter, the TPS isn't correct. The LX9 TB is plug and play (just need to mod your throttle cable bracket), the TCE TB is bolt on and go.

The ford TB is too much work when the LX5 and an adapter works like stock. The ford you have to loose the IAC, then splice TPS connector wiring, make a throttle cable bracket, the throttle cable comes from the backside not front, etc etc.
LX5 you just bolt on and go other than cutting the top of the 3400/3100 cable bracket shorter bending it down and drilling and taping a bolt to hold it to the "arm" of the TB that has the throttle stop. Or weld on a tab of metal like I did to bolt to the TB face..
I used a thin but strong (stainless) piece of scrap and my friend TIG'ed it on.
So yup like FF said. Easiest CNC 65mm. 2nd, LX5. Least Ford TB. (ford TB needs no adapter though, but tons of other work).sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

I have a list of things you can CAD if you would like J/K
Been trying out a raster to vector (Vector Magic) program and it works pretty good to get a copy, but not quite master yet.
Gar, make sure you let us see it when you get 're done
