    Oh OK, it may not be your cam sensor then and I've heard that the PCM will revert to batch-fire if the Cam sensor fails (although I don't think that's true, I've seen no strat due to cam sensor).Bbut does the fuel pressure hold without cranking it for 5 mins? did you test the pressure regulator? Unplug the vacuum hose and see if it drops again or not when cranking and then clamp the return line and see if the pressure doesn't drop drop. It doesn't make sense to me that you would have good head pressure and then it'd drop and be the fuel pump.

      still think it is that pump,my olds would start,run for about 15 sec and die.while this was happening,the gauge would start at about 50psi and slowly drop until the engine died.replaced the pump,and problem fixed.
