if my engine is siezed it couldnt move in drive or reverse correct? if it can roll then the problem should be in the trans correct?

If your engine is seized it won't turn over at all. Since you say Drive, then I'm under the impression that you're using an auto. With an auto when you have the engine off, it doesn't matter what gear you put it in, the engine won't be hooked to the tires like it is when the engine is running. The pump that drives the transmission parts is located behind the torque converter meaning if the engine isn't spinning, the transmission isn't going to do anything. If you want to see if your engine is seized, grab a 2 foot 1/2 drive ratchet, get a socket that fits the harmonic balancer bolt and try to turn it over by hand. If you try to use the starter and it is seized, your probably going to break something, be it teeth on the ring gear, the starter itself, or burn your car down since the starter has a direct connection to the battery and a seized engine (not letting the starter turn) would create a direct short on your battery.

You should quite easily be able to turn the motor with a regular half inch drive ratchet. There is no way you need a 2 foot bar.

you can turn your engine over in both directions. that won't hurt anything. there was a time i spun a bearing in my 93 Cierra 3.3. i shut it off and it went bang. wouldn't turn over. a week later i though i'd do what you are doing. still wouldn't turn over, but it did turn the other way! i went 1/2 turn, then a full turn the other way, then the car started up. i figured the bearing had so much clearance, it was allowing the rod to contact the block. fun times! (that was run out of oil on purpose btw.) yeah, yeah, i know, i'm an engine killer, and it was fun!

I figured 2 foot would work well to fight compression, that is my reason behind saying 2 foot. Then again, you don't need to fight compression to know the engine turns at all.
