Maybe been discussed before, but.....which groove should be used for zero at TDC.
Is the damper on my 3.1L RWD like a SBC where the first mark at, say the 2 o'clock position, is the BTDC and the 12 o'clock position is ATDC?
Confused? I am. Been messing with my timing for awhile and when the first mark comes around on the damper to zero, the #1 cylinder valves are just closed. Then there's another mark say 12 degrees behind it. When that comes to zero, the valves are still shut.
So, what mark do I use?
