Yeah, he never used it as a DD . He built it for just going to the track... which is pretty obvious when trying to use it as a DD . So many little things that drive me insane... His "re-worked" TOG headers kinda suck . On his cardomain it looks like he first put them on his auto, then did the manual swap and put them on again and they hit the bulkhead like a B. But I don't really feel like pulling them off, bending them down more for the manual, when they prolly fit fine on the auto. Just wait until I can get loner to loan me his set up .

I kinda doubt that now . He got his truck running so if his car's trans go it doesnt matter as much as it did.

Just got back from alot of highway driving. Managed to score 8.4L/100Kms or ~28 MPG on the highway. Pretty darn good for a 13 year-old car.

I don't trust gas pump readings anymore, but I topped my tank off on my old 97 3.1l Lumina after nothing but mostly hwy driving the other day, and it came out to be 29 mpg. I couldn't believe it. However, I did just put a new oxygen sensor on it. Gets about 20-23 mpg in town mixed driving, depending.

damn right... I get 8.8L/100km with a mix of hiway, in town (TOWN, not city), lots of times accelerating kinda hard-ish.

So if by modifying my engine I gain MPG and HP, I wonder then why the factory didnt do that to? Do they want to just keep tail-pipe emmisions to a certain level only?
