It was the red o-rings... they still compressed enough to break, its ok though as I noted before the spacers were too thick for my application, so I brought them down to .300" thick, and then I'm using a gasket on either side which brings it back up to a total of .400" so I lost .1" hopefuly thats enough to give me the ever so slight clearance I needed on my hood.

    e-mail sent btw.

The hold down bracket is pretty easy to see what it is... I has a C shape sorta for holding down the pcv IIRC. No time now to go get a pic. but maybe the week end.

no need, I used some spacers and longer bolts, it works for now... And TCE is sending me the proper adapter today IIRC...

I have the 3500 upper back on with the 3500 MAP installed, (Thank you 91LQ1Lumina for the plug) New 45* intake bend after TB, removed nitrous port, since now there is one on the tb adapter and currently just using a stock gasket, no spacers till I get them back... Possibly today.

Anyone have a 3500 coil pack bracket??

I was dumb and sold mine to Chris

Jon... As stated above, I am sending a spacer/bolt kit that you should receive on Friday. The aluminum spacers will look and function fine. We have not made any more adapters and do not plan to for a while. When we do make some, they will look like your adapter with spacers except the spacers will be machined onto it to reduce weight. Weight reduction was one of the reasons for redesigning the adapters.

the 3500 coil bracket is alot different then the 3400 one... i don't think the older style ICM/Coils will bolt to it..

It can be done if you drill new holes. This way you can use the bolt down's on the 3500 plenum instead of just the 2 lower bolts and having your coils flopping around

I just use the 3100 coil bracket. Bolt the bottom up, and leave the top unbolted. It fits tightly on the back of the 3500 plenum. It's tight no way it can flop around. I was worried that it might and crack the aluminum bracket, but no way it can move. They are tight.

Chris did what I want to do, and my bracket bounces right now like a mofo... lope equals an erratic engine, I need support.

Hmm. Mine sits tight and snug... Odd that the lope would cause them to bounce up much. You need a wire bra for extra support! LOL

Its tight but its not pressed right against the intake, so it bounces... thats all. And it well yeah touches the intake when it bounces so its gonna eventually leave a mark there.
