Call me out on things, as i've only peiced this together in my head. This would be a track only car. Something to waste time / $$ on... Use to have a 90 3.1 and 94 3.4 dohc gps...
Looking at a 98 Grand Prix SE 3100 car to start with. Reason, cheap, better suspension then pregen, working for DHP, I have everything i need to tune the PCM
90 turbo 3.1 engine complete drop out that I found.
Swapping over any parts/electroincs/blah from the 98. I havent done my homework yet so go easy on me. I'm sure there is probably parts that don't cross over to easily..
I would be welding up my own manifolds, and throwing the t25 away. Exhaust would most likely be dumping out somewhere down and out quick.
Car will have seats removed. and any other peices that dont seem needed. But I won't be completly stripping it down to a shell. I want it somewhat non eye sore inside...
Ill be using a racetronix fuel pump, which ever injectors i find suitable for the job.
Transaxle wise, ill be using either 2004 compg tranny that has 3.29 gears stock... or 04 montana tranny same gears, but no HD diff.. can be fixed tho quickly..
Front will probably be lowered some, rear jacked up.
No AC, oversized radiator.
Engine wise, i am not sure on what.
Custom cam, or rockers, ported anything..
If things go well for me soon this year, im gonna need a new toy. my 98 gtp has a few more things to dump into it, and it will be pretty much done.
