4 months is nothing. I'm at 8. Seriously though, waiting is no problem if I was told so up front. I was told only a few weeks.

Same here. Interestingly enough, I told him to refund my money and two days later it's on the way. You should do the same!

Granted these time frames are NOT acceptable but you need to remember this is not ALL that he does, this is a side business, and not a cheap one at that... so if he doesn't get the parts needed or cant fund them then he needs to hold off on shipping stuff.

Yes it sucks, but hell it was the same thing with DHP and now thats totally down the tubes.

Jeff's pretty good with responding to my e-mails and I never really had a problem, Only when I sent one down and said no rush to get it back... he had it for 6 months, but that was my fault for saying no rush, because once I asked for it he finished it up and sent it to me NO QUESTIONS ASKED... and at a VERY GOOD deal, so I will always back him up.

I do not sit at my computer waiting for the doorbell to ring. On the contrary, I am working two jobs and have no time to read emails. The one big job I am trying to finish is this Sunbird 3.1/3400 hybrid, which is why I was asking questions about it here.

As far as I know, I am the only person in the world who builds a true clutch-type limited slip differential for these old crap-boxes GM built in the 80's and 90's. The only people who want this shit are people too poor to afford a nice car. (me included, so don;t get your panties in a wad...) I need to be doing LS engine swaps in Camaros and T/A's, turbo kits on Corvettes, instead of wore out tin cans like this Sunbird with Walmart tint and seat covers, electrical tape for door weatherstirpping... or building limited slips for Hondas, I'd be so rich I would have to throw money away to make room for more. But I love the old GM crap, as all us hapless guys do. Please consider it a joint venture, you and I working together to make our cars beat the rice. Consider I sell these diffs for the same price as Auburn and Eaton sell their 12-bolt and 9" diffs. They mass-produce them and sell a true bazillion or them. I sell about 30-40 per year and lose money on every one of them.

I thank those of you who have waited, patiently or not, for bearing with me. You WILL always get exactly what I promised, just not exactly when I promise it. That's one bad habit I have, I try to appease by promising too much.

I have no complaints with Jeff.

Although I'm going to make you look bad!

Received my LSD and 3:73 gear set in 48 hours TO CANADA!

              And it works wonderfully!

Hey Eric, thanks for the kind words... Yes, I do also work with the customer's time-table. If I know the customer is in a rush, to make "the big race" or has a daily driver down and apart, I will accomodate their needs. If I know it's a second car, third car, or long-term project, and the engine is in pieces on the floor of the bedroom, bathroom, or other place one wouldn't normally expect to SEE engine parts, I will take my time and move them to the end of the line if need be.

Well then to let you know YES my diff I just sent is for a second car (in one piece though) but I need it done ASAP, I still need to get it painted it and well currently its on jackstands on boards in the back yard with just the diff out sinking in the mud... LOL

But yeah you come through with the turn around time you quoted me and I'll be more than happy.

Thanks, and I can't want to see what this car feels like with a LSD

                    Jeff ......

Jeff - I need to hear from you on my diff - which you indicated was shipped 3/31 via FedEx. It never showed up in NJ. I've sent you several emails over the last 5 days, no response. Your listed business phone number has been disconnected. Can you email me at dana.robbins@comcast.net or call me at 860.673.0823? My first race date is in 3 weeks. I at least need a tracking number. Even if the diff isn't done - I'll pay to have it shipped back "as is".

                    Thanks.
                    Dana.
